A video has surfaced of the late Cory Monteith giving a message to a fan while on a flight to Vancouver -- where he later died of an accidental overdose.

In the short 15-second clip, Monteith tells intended recipient Mallory (we're guessing she's friends with one of Cory's seatmates?) to "stay out of trouble and stay in school."

The video appears to be the last one of Cory before his tragic passing.

While in Vancouver, he sat in on an acting class given by his longtime friend Andrew McIlroy, who never suspected Monteith was using drugs again. "I don't want him to be a past tense," Andrew said. "I never walked away from Cory saying, 'Oh my God, I hope you're OK.'"

Cory's 'Glee' co-stars are also doing public eulogies of sorts -- on last night's 'Tonight Show,' Jane Lynch choked up while remembering him fondly, and Dianna Agron issued a statement in which she called him "one of the most generous and kind people that I have ever met."
