Christmas Vacation is one of my all time favorite Christmas movies. I even saw it in the movie theater 30 years ago. Btw, I still can't believe it's been 30 thirty years. I'm really old. Anyway, Christmas Vacation has stood the test of time with every new generation discovering the incredible characters and limitless humor of this classic film.
We all see ourselves in Clark, with crazy in-laws, banking on your Christmas bonus (if you even get one), trying to outdo your neighbors, just trying to keep the spirit of Christmas and family alive. It's a tough job, but we all do it. That is why this movie is so great. We can all relate to at least one of the character.
