Hey friend! I'm Sammy! I'm a houuunnnnnd dog! Well one of my parents was a hound dog and the other was a lab. So, I can sniff and I love everyone! I'm a little sad because I keep getting passed over at the shelter. Some people think I look like Jar Jar Binks when my ears are down and I have a little star on my chest.

Hey you, meet TONY! Tony is a good-lookin' 2-yr-old Lab/Rottie mix.

May I tell you something? I am sad to say I have lived at the shelter for a little bit. And I am sad because oh boy do I want a master! Will you be my master? You should be my master because I love you!

Athena is a young pit mix who has found herself at the WHS. She is a good girl and likes snacks, kids, and other dogs. She just wants to be part of a family - it doesn't matter how big or how small.

Meet Bonnie. Bonnie is a 1.5 year old heeler mix who came to the WHS with a really nasty skin condition. She's doing so much better but has a little ways to go. Thanks to the folks at WHS, Bonnie is beautiful again! She's very friendly and likes other dogs and kids.

Meet Joe Joe. JJ is a one-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix. He's only 26 pounds and has lots of Jack Russell energy! He's been at the shelter for over a month but we think it's because he's waiting for the perfect home that will appreciate his get up and go!

I do very much want to be a part of a family or even a single person's companion. I'm an 8 1/2 year old female Boxer/Plott Hound and ready to go home today. Please don't pass me by! ♥️, Miss Georgia 👑

Meet Carter! Carter is a young male Akita mix. He is a very loving boy. He does appear to have some road rash where he was hit by a car, but he has been examined by a vet and it seems to just be road rash and no serious injuries.
