If you're unfamiliar with the term "lifehack," it refers to simple, out-of-the-box solutions people have come up with for common, every day life issues like creating more cabinet space, or filling a bucket full of water when the bucket is to big to fit under you sink faucet. Google the word "lifehacks" and you'll get 2.3 million results.

Since we are a society always looking for ways to make life easier, these hacks become viral, quickly finding their way onto Twitter and Facebook, like this one which I found a week or so back, on my news feed:

Easy enough, right? But does it work? That's what I intended to find out this morning before leaving for work.
