The monthly “Fitness In the Park” events continue this month with a trip to Garvin Park. These events started back in May and are FREE and open to the public. The goal is to raise awareness about health and fitness, and to actually get you motivated to get out and get active.

Residents of Oakland City are still trying to pick up the pieces this morning after getting rocked by Tuesday night’s storm. High winds and large hail seem to be the major culprits. And after an emergency meeting this morning, city officials have announced a declaration of emergency for Oakland City.
