There is something new & exciting afoot in the 'Ville! "Let the Good Times Roll" is the first ever pedal bar in Evansville! What is a pedal bar? Well let me try to explain!

According to an announcement via Facebook from the owner of Lamasco Bar & Grill, Amy Rivers-Word, Evansville's first ever pedal bar is coming! According to the post,

Please check out and "like" Let the Good Times Roll, Evansville's FIRST Pedal Bar!!!!! Some great pics of our bike in production and what our final bike will look like! Check it out! We are so excited to bring such a unique and fun experience to Evansville. So many more details to follow, but just want to share the excitement! Thank you, as always, for being the most supportive hometown of my endeavors.

My understanding is that drinks won't be served on the Let the Good Times Roll cycle built for 11. It will be used as a mode of transportation that can be rented for use by a group of friends, a church group, a pack of girl scouts, a bachelorette party or anyone else for that matter. It is the equivalent of a pedal-powered party bus! The Let the Good Times Roll cycle will seat 10 people, and a driver, and can be used to ride from bar to bar, or maybe a Franklin Street tour, a trip through historic downtown, along the riverfront, etc.

There are similar pedal bars in cities across the country, including the Denver Pedal Hopper. Check it out to see what is coming to Evansville. It looks like the Let the Good Times Roll cycle will be ready to go sometime in October!
