Sometimes in the animal kingdom, strange things happen... like this momma cat caring for a 1 day old pitbull puppy as if it were one of her kittens.

An animal shelter in Ohio took in a 1-day-old pitbull pup, after it's owner said it's mother had rejected it from the litter. Trying to figure out how they were going to give this lonely little pup the best chance at survival, and eventually the chance of a loving forever home, someone at the shelter wondered if they could introduce this little guy to a momma cat and her new litter of kittens. What happened may surprise you! That little reject has been welcomed into the litter and that extraordinary momma cat has accepted the pup as one of her own - giving the little guy a fighting chance. Makes you wonder why the humans in the world can't practice this kind of acceptance of those that are different.
