YMCA of Southwestern Indiana ‘5K on the Runway’ and Family Day Scheduled for Saturday

Without a doubt, one of the more unique 5K runs ever conceived, Saturday's race will take place on the runway of Tri-State Areo, just north of the old Whirlpool building at Highway 41 North and St. George Road.

Registration is $25 and can be done online through the YMCA website using a credit card. Check payments will also be accepted and can be made payable to:

Race packets can be picked up at the YMCA in Downtown Evansville on Friday, May 10th between 3-8pm, or at Tri-State Aero the day of the race between 6-7am.

Childcare will be available on site for runners with children ages 2-10, with activities for kids of all ages during the Family Fun Day portion that include, a Lifeflight Helicopter, inflatables, firetrucks, an airplane exhibit, and more!

Limited parking will be available at Tri-State Aero with overflow parking available at Thunderbolt Pass Golf Course on Campground Road with shuttle service available to the event.
