Year in Review Melissa Awesome’s 2014 Summed up in 5 Photos

I know, you've seen it all over your newsfeed "click here to see so and so's 2014 in review!" I haven't done one of those, because I thought instead of just sharing 2014 on Facebook, I'd rather share it here with you! So in case you were wondering, here's a glimpse at what my 2014 looked like!

2014 was a weird year that was full of big changes, the biggest change for me was graduating college! I honestly never thought I'd see the day that I had a real college degree, but after a ton of hard work (and countless amounts of energy drinks, and all nighters) I finally did it!

I had the opportunity to go to a seminar at St. Jude back in January.  Every year we have our annual St. Jude radiothon on KISS and Chandelle and I got to go to St. Jude to help prepare for the radiothon.  Not only did we get to do and see some incredible things, we got to tour St. Jude and learn a ton about what a truly amazing organization St. Jude is.  I will forever be grateful for getting to go and experience this. And Chandelle and I of course had fun taking selfies in the hotel room mirror before seminars.  Yes, this is how we normally spend our free time.

I got to spend a week at the beach with family and friends, and I never wanted to leave.  But as much as I didn't want to, I came back home.  Unfortunately "professional beach bum" isn't an actual job.

I got to get dressed up a lot more than usual this year, because I had a TON of friends get married. Luckily I had a blast at each wedding, and couldn't be happier for my friends!  My boyfriend was also in a TON of weddings, he's considering offering his services as "professional groomsman" if you're interested we can discuss rates.

And finally I got to do a lot of hanging out with my sweet girl.

I had a really hard time picking just 5 pictures to try and describe 2014.  It was a weird year that was full of changes, good things, and weird things.  I started the transition from being a college student, to actual productive member of society (which is just the scariest thing ever).  I moved out of my college apartment, and got my first "grown up" apartment.  I changed my hair color no less than 145 times (obviously I'm exaggerating), and I did some pretty cool things (like getting to see Motley Crue on their farewell tour, and Alice Cooper)!
