Are there any intersections here in Evansville that seem especially dangerous to you?  I have a few that I've noticed, as well as some that don't really seem all that dangerous to me at all but always seem to have accidents.  I've come up with a few that have jumped out at me, but it's far from a complete list.  What are some especially dangerous intersections here in Evansville that I missed, leave a comment below!

HIGHWAY 41 & VIRGINIA: Here's the issue with 41 at Virginia: Like a handful of intersections along that stretch of Highway 41, new stoplights have been installed featuring a blinking arrow.  These arrows are in no way confusing, however some Evansville drivers seem to be a bit confused about how they work.  Here's the deal; The blinking left arrow means you can make a left only if it's clear, although you do not have the right of way like a solid green arrow.  My understanding is that so many accidents have occurred here since the stoplights were installed that they have actually sadly deactivated the blinking arrow, causing back ups frequently for people trying to turn left.

GREEN RIVER ROAD & POLLACK AVE: This has always been my least favorite intersection here in town.  Up until very recently, this pretty busy intersection was actually a 4-way stop, which completely blew my mind.  There are way too many lanes and drivers at this intersection for it to be a 4-way stop!  I was extremely happy when they decided to abandon it for a traditional stoplight.  Despite the removal of the stop signs, as well the addition of the stoplights, I guess not everyone in Evansville got the memo because, perhaps out of force-of-habit, drivers still treat the intersection as a 4-way stop.  Accidents have reportedly been piling up here.

LLOYD EXPRESSWAY & GREEN RIVER ROAD: While admittedly, I don't actually witness a large amount of accidents at this intersection, something about the way the lanes merge WHILE TURNING strikes me as very dangerous, no?

BELLEMEADE AVE. & HEBRON: I know people that live around here, and supposedly there are accidents here ALL the time.  What's especially upsetting about this is that it's directly in front of Hebron Elementary School, so there are kids crossing here as well as crossing guards.  Also troubling is that I can't really figure out what makes this intersection so accident-prone.

OK, those are mine.  What are your least favorite intersections here in Evansville?  Comment below!
