When Brie Larson first signed up for the role of Captain Marvel she was worried about which costume they were going to make her wear! According to an interview Larson and Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige did with the Hollywood Reporter, Larson was totally on board with the idea of playing in Marvel's first female lead movie. But when she walked into Feige's office and saw the posters of the previous costumes worn by the superhero, needless to say it gave her a slight pause!

In earlier incarnations of the female Captain Marvel, or Ms. Marvel as she was also referred to as, her costumes left little to the imagination. As was the way most female comic book character were drawn in order to encourage male readers to read a comic book featuring a female lead!

Luckily for Larson, her and Feige were on the same page when it came down to the costume choices. When Larson pointed to the poster showing some of Captain Marvel's more revealing outfits, Fiege told her, 'Yeah, just so you know, that’s not what we’re doing." to which Larson replied, "Okay. I didn’t think so, but I’m glad you said that."

Personally I wouldn't have minded seeing Brie Larson in the Black Swimsuit version of the costume but overall I think they made a good choice going with the full body armor styles. Which suit would YOU have preferred to see Captain Marvel wearing? Leave you answers in the comment box below!
