What to Do About Unwanted Calls & Texts

Your BBB® continues to receive calls for consumers who are still receiving unwanted robocalls and text messages.

Whether they are offering to lower your credit card interest rate or claim you’ve won a prize, these calls and texts are, at best, potentially annoying and at worst, potentially scammers after your identity or money. We are often asked how to stop the calls. Unfortunately, there is no sure fire way to do that, as the folks behind a lot of the robocalls out there don’t bother to check the Do Not Call list. However, that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have your number on the list, as any unwanted sales calls from other more reputable entities will abide by your choice not to be called.
