Some people get up every morning and do their best to help make the world a better place. Others, however, feel like their jobs actually make the world worse.

According to the latest employee survey by PayScale, nearly 39 percent of all fast food workers feel as though their service to this world is a negative one, followed by almost 18 percent of gaming dealers, who say their jobs do nothing to help make the world a better place to live in.

Katie Bardaro, lead economist at PayScale, says those statistics are likely due to these two groups of workers feeling as though they are contributing to things like obesity and to people’s gambling problems. "They're supporting peoples' vices," said Bardaro.

Other jobs that employees feel make the world a worse place are telemarketers, television newscast directors and, surprisingly, bartenders, which is quite possibly due to the fact that getting people drunk for a living may not be as much fun as most people think it is.
