What is the Best Fried Chicken in Evansville? (National Fried Chicken Day)

In the year 2016 we celebrate things like President's Day, Valentine's Day, and yes, even National Fried Chicken Day. I don't really know how to celebrate properly (what decorations do you buy?) so I'm just going to (chicken) wing it.

I decided to ask my co-workers who has the best fried chicken in Evansville and here are their answers:

Bobby G: Gabe's Deli

Bobby is a fan of fried chicken from Gabe's Deli at Buehler's IGA. As someone who has had their chicken, this is a great choice.

Kat Mykals: KFC

Kat went with the classic choice of KFC. My favorite thing from KFC is definitely their mashed potato bowls.

Travis: Tasty Freeze 2

Travis is a fan of chicken from Tasty Freeze 2 in Boonville. Yes, I know I said best chicken in Evansville, but I can't exclude a place called the "Tasty Freeze."

Dave: Schnuck's

Dave loves the chicken from Schnuck's. He says it tastes great and is cheap. I'm a fan of all of those things.

Melissa: KFC

And Melissa makes a good case for KFC being the best chicken in the area. Yes, it's a chain restaurant but that doesn't mean it isn't good!

The Rob and Ryan O'Bryan could not be reached for comment as I assume they were out celebrating Fried Chicken Day with their families (or by enjoying a bucket of chicken alone).
