As an adolescent who was becomng a man in the late 1990s/early 2000s, several of Hollywood's leading ladies caught my eye and "lit my fire" so to speak. While I didn't watch "Saved By the Bell" (gasp, i know) "Beverly Hills, 90210" was enough to fuel my crush on Tiffani Amber Thiessen. Of course there's the standard Pamela Anderson. I found Carmen Elektra had "it," whatever that means. I didn't ignore the Spice Girls, especially Baby Spice. Jenny McCarthy was one of the first celebrities I had ever seen naked, and I've never forgotten that moment. Lastly, Ariel "The Little Mermaid" was probably I've ever come to having a animated crush.

There were a few guys in pop-culture during my pre-teen & teen years that really sparked that "OMG" feeling. Let's start with those pre-teen hearthrobs: NKOTB. Yeah. That was a thing. I was completely Team Joey. In the same vein as New Kids, was Marky Mark. I mean, come on! Those abs & his Calvins peaking out the top of his waistband! And then there was Ryan Phillipe. Remember seeing his butt in Cruel Intentions? Yeah... *sigh
