Everyone hates receiving calls from pesky solicitors. To help combat this annoyance in the Hoosier state, Indiana Attorney General Greg Zoeller has teamed up with Missouri Attorney General Chris Koster to organize the first ever national “No-Call Law Enforcement Summit.”

The summit got underway today in Indianapolis, where state and federal agencies will work to determine the best methods for stopping unwanted calls and develop plans to prosecute offenders.

In 2013, the Indiana attorney general’s office fielded 14,000 “Do Not Call” complaints with more than half of those coming from automated callbots. Although consumers can register their phone on the Do Not Call Registry established by the Federal Trade Commission, it seems that nothing will stop these unwanted solicitations.

“Consumers nationwide are fed up with receiving unwanted calls, and that’s why we have gathered our state and federal partners to identify solutions,” said Zoeller.

Here are the top 10 “Do Not Call” complaints filed in Indiana last year:

1. Credit Services

2. Home Security

3. Home Improvement

4. Prizes and Sweepstakes

5. Computer Services

6. Insurance

7. Debt Consolidation

8. Vacations

9. Debt Collectors

10. Health Care
