Over the past few weeks I have been taking different aspects of popular culture and comparing it to the way things were two decades ago.  Today, we'll be looking at my favorite entertainment medium, video games!

Today's games are blockbusters.  Now a multi-billion dollar industry, it is not uncommon to see staffs of over one THOUSAND people working on ONE game.  The graphics and controllers sure look a lot different nowadays, too!  But does that make a game BETTER??

Compare the sales chart from this past holiday season to the sales chart from the holiday season of 1992.  Which lineup do you find more appealing?
