Watch How Maddie Spies on Her Dog (and Boyfriend)

A couple years ago for Christmas, I got the coolest present EVER. 

I love my dog. I'm borderline obsessed with her. She's my main chick, my sidekick, my ride or die. She's just as attached to me as I am to her, and I wouldn't have it any other way.

Mini has slight separation anxiety, as do I (like mother, like daughter), so when I got this handy dandy doodad for Christmas, I was thrilled.

BEHOLD...THE FURBO.

Furbo is a dog camera that allows you to interact with your pet 24/7. At work? Doesn't matter, you can still see your pupper. Taking longer than expected at the grocery store? Let your fur baby know by tossing them a treat. It's a simple camera that you set up anywhere in your house and it allows you see and talk to your dog (or cat) whenever you want. You control it easily through an app on your phone. It's that simple.

Above is my Mini Girl, and my entire living room, to show you guys just how awesome the Furbo is. If you look to the right side, there's a microphone. This allows you to talk to your pet, or mute it so they can't hear you. It's like you're a dog spy.

But, let's get down to the big button in the middle.

YOU CAN GIVE YOUR PET TREATS. I'm not making this up. That big treat-shaped button sends a signal to the camera that dispenses a treat to your pet. It's amazing. I often give my dog anywhere from two to thirty-seven treats a day. Because I can.

Plus, this also acts as a security system in a way. You can see what's going on in your home when you aren't there. An alert is sent to my email whenever my dog is "barking." Now, my dog doesn't bark hardly ever, so the first time I got this notification I was alarmed. I pulled up the live feed on my app and it was just my boyfriend watching TV, which triggered the device to pick up the sound and send the notification. How cool is that?

The only downside is that your pet can't see you. But, now that I think about it, that's probably a good thing...because I'd never be able to get off FaceTime with my pup.
