Video surfaces featuring Lorde at age 12!

Admittedly, Lorde isn't THAT much older than 12 now.  She just turned 17 earlier this month.  Her young age never stopped her from toppling the pop and alternative music charts, though.  Her song "Royals" just wrapped up a run on the top of the charts.  If this video is any indication, it seems like Lorde has been rocking for a long time.  Watch her at only 12 years old, then known by her real name, Ella Yelich-O'Connor, perform with her band Extreme at the 2009 Intermediate Schools Battle of the Bands.  Also, watch until the very end to see a short interview with her and the band.
