After a run of being voiced by Iron Man himself, Robert Downey Jr., a few years back, Mr. Peanut returns to our televisions with a new ad campaign, and a new voice. A voice you know, whether you realize it or not.

As I was watching TV one evening, the commercial above ran during one of the breaks, and as I listened to Mr. Peanut speak, I knew his voice sounded familiar, I just couldn't place it. With my trusty iPad next to me on the end table, I hit the web to find out that none other than Bill Hader of Saturday Night Live fame is the man behind the voice.

Known predominantly for his run on SNL (Hader announced he was leaving the show at the end of last season), this isn't his first run providing a voice for an animated object. The comic landed the starring role of Flint Lockwood in both Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs and its sequel, the appropriately titled, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 scheduled for release on September 27th.

Hader has also lent his talents to this summer's Monsters University, and has two more animated films in the works, The Good Dinosaurand Inside Out,scheduled for release in 2014 and 2015, respectively.

He also hasn't limited his voice acting to the big screen having played roles on Cartoon Network's The Venture Brothers, the Hulu original series, The Awesomes, along with one time roles on South Park and The Simpsons.
