Want to Join The Rob’s Radio Show?

I’m serious…  You could join the show permanently!

I was serious this morning about wanting “The Rob’s Radio Show” to grow and evolve.  And I’m serious about wanting to add some new flavor and another voice, perosnality, and opinion to the show…  I’m also pretty sure this voice belongs to a person I probably haven’t met yet, and most likely lives right here in the Tri-State.

I don’t want to go the “traditional radio show host” route and look for a professional DJ in the radio trade magazines and websites because I’m not a “traditional radio show host” and this isn’t a “traditional” radio show.  Doing that only results in getting a whole bunch of tapes in the mail from a bunch of people who sound the same…  That’s NOT what I’m looking for.  In fact, I would probably prefer the ideal candidate to have no radio experience at all and just be real.

All I really want is someone with a PERSONALITY.  Somebody’s who is FUN to work with and is happy to be on the radio.  Someone who has an opinion on things.  Someone who can take a joke in good spirit, as well as give some back.  Someone who doesn’t mind opening up their lives to the listeners.  Someone who is exciting, captivating, and funny to listen to…  You DON’T need radio training for that.  I have no preconceptions outside of that.  I don’t care about your age, gender, appearance or anything.

If you think you or someone you know meets this description, fill out the attached personality survey.  If possible, include a video so we can fully experience YOU.  As time progresses, you may start hearing people join us on the air for a few days, or even weeks until we’ve found the right person.

I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been approached at appearances by people asking me “How do you get into radio?”  If you’ve ever wanted to be in radio and REALLY think you’ve got what it takes, you CAN’T miss this opportunity.

How did -I- get into radio??  I only wish it would have been this easy!
