It's no secret that all of us here at Townsquare Media are big supporters of our local animal rescue community and we are celebrating pet adoptions with our Happy Tails contest!

We have been helping area shelters and rescues find forever homes for the animals in their care for years because we truly believe in the mantra "Don't Shop. Adopt." Happy Tails, proudly sponsored by Robert John and Associates, is a celebration of those forever home success stories!

We have been asking you to share your stories of pet adoption from accredited shelters and rescues in Western Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Southern Illinois. To say that the response has been overwhelming would be an understatement!

It has been an absolute joy and a blessing to read through each and every one of the Happy Tails that have been shared with us. It was a tough challenge for our esteemed panel of judges to narrow the entries down to just 50 finalists, but like most things in life, with coffee all things are possible. Now it's time to let you vote for your favorite rescue and adoption story.

The winning pet and pet owner will receive a $100 Amazon gift card to load up on treats and toys, and the shelter responsible for the winning adoption will receive a $1000 donation courtesy of Robert John and Associates.
