Vanderburgh County Commissioners have implemented a personal fireworks ban.

This vote means that  personal fireworks are now banned in both the city of Evansville and in Vanderburgh County.

The mayor’s office say that the city fireworks on the riverfront will go on as scheduled. However, officials say that if the wind speeds change the mayor could cancel the show. They say that call will be made by 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.

Evansville Otters – Fireworks show on July 3rd has been cancelled.
Holiday World – July 4th Fireworks Display cancelled.
Muhllenberg County – Postponing Freedomfest Fireworks show
