Dance like nobody's watching and help save lives at Riley Children's Hospital at the same time!

The annual University of Southern Indiana Dance Marathon is set for November 10th from Noon-8pm inside the USI Rec Center and will offer students and the general public at day of dancing, fun, and education on the life-saving, publicly-funded treatments being performed at Riley's on a daily basis.

Families who have had personal experiences at Riley will be in attendance, sharing stories of inspiration and strength throughout the event.

Registration is underway now on the USI campus and is $10 for USI students which includes a t-shirt. Students are also encouraged to raise a minimum of $30 independently to help achieve this year's goal of $10,000, all of which will go directly to Riley's. Non-USI students along with general public are also welcome to participate for a $5 entry fee. Donations will also be accepted at the door.

For those that can't attend the event, or may be a little shy busting a move in front of a gymnasium full of strangers, but still want to contribute, donations can be mailed in advance to the address below or made online at http://www.firstgiving.com/rileykids/usidm

The dance marathon idea is not a new one. Marathon's take place at college and high school campus' across the country year-round. Check out the video below for a better idea of what to expect on November 10th.
