University of Evansville Purple Aces Host Southern Illinois This Saturday During Military Appreciation Night

The University of Evansville Men's Basketball are showing their appreciation for our local military men and women by giving them free admission to Saturday night's game against the Saluki's of Southern Illinois.

The Purple Aces come into Saturday night looking to establish a winning streak after a thrilling overtime victory over Missouri State Wednesday night, snapping a two game losing skid after losses on the road to Creighton (ranked 16th in the Associated Press poll and 11th in the USA Today Coaches poll) and Butler (ranked 17th in the AP poll and 20th by the USA Today Coaches poll) to improve their record to 8-6.

A visit from the Saluki's on Saturday night gives them that opportunity during Military Appreciation Night with Fifth Third Bank. Any active or retired member of the military get in free with their military uniform or ID. Military family members can also enjoy the game at the discounted ticket price of just $5.00.
