University of Evansville Graduate Toby Onwumere Joins Netflix Series Sense 8

A University of Evansville graduate has joined Sense 8, a Netflix Original Series. Toby Onwumere is replacing British actor Aml Ameen as the character of Capheus. Onwumere attended UE from 2008-2012 and appeared in the schools production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The actor also has ties to the local film community after appearing in the fantastic web-series Book of Dallas.

It's always cool to see people who have spent time in our area go out and do big things with their lives. While I've never seen the show, I might have to clear my schedule and binge watch in preparation of season 2! Congrats, Toby!
