This Saturday at Ellis Park, Hagar and Sons Heating and Air are partnering with Carrier Corp to give a deserving veteran a new heating and air conditioning system! The event will also have food, a car show, a presentation from the American Legion, and, of course, food!

Veterans will eat for free and monetary donations will be accepted for everyone else. The event will take place from 10am-2pm!

And, The Habegger Corporation and Hager and Son Heating and Cooling will be honoring one of our nation's true American heroes at the event. The company recently donated a new Bryant residential climate control system as part of Bryant’s True Heroes program to Jim Hanley, commander of the local American Legion Post 40. Mr. Hanley was named a True Hero for his unwavering commitment to the veteran community in and around Henderson, Kentucky.

“As a veteran, the son of a veteran and an employer of veterans, this donation is a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community and provide heating and cooling to a veteran who deserves our support,” Danny Hager, owner of Hager and Son said. “We anticipate many years of supporting this community.”  It is a vital part of the company's Veterans Day community event on November 11.

“Veterans Day is always a solemn event for our family as we reflect on the many years we gave to our great country and to the immense sacrifice being made by today’s generation of veterans,” Hanley said. “To have Bryant and Danny Hager and his team make such a generous donation is indescribable and helps me appreciate how lucky we are as Americans to live in a country where our veterans are so well respected.”

In his honor, Hager and Son Heating and Cooling installed a new Bryant home comfort system in the home of Kenneth Hailman, a Korean War veteran who served 27 years in the active and reserve components of the U.S. Army.

Hailman expressed gratitude for the donation.

“I am so thankful to Hager and Son and to Bryant for this wonderful system,” he said. “This will keep our family comfortable for many years and we are very grateful.”

Bryant stated that this project represents yet another opportunity to demonstrate its enduring commitment to the communities where Bryant dealers live and work.

“For more than a century, Bryant has been synonymous with keeping families comfortable in their homes, and part of this proud tradition has been to work with our dealers to give back in a way that strengthens the communities in which we do business,” said Matthew Pine, vice president and general manager, Bryant. “It’s wonderful to see Hager and Son making this investment in its community and honoring veterans through this project.”
