Traffic Alert – Southbound Highway 41 Lane Restrictions Monday and Tuesday Due to Bridge Work

Motorists traveling to Ellis Park or Henderson from Evansville should be prepared for slowed traffic while state road crews perform maintenance on bridges between I-164 and the Indiana / Kentucky state line.

According to the Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT), crews began work this morning (Monday, July 29th) to patch bridge decks on both bridges in that stretch of highway. Work is expected to be completed by 5pm Tuesday (July 30th), weather permitting.

INDOT also reminds drivers to "follow the posted work zone speed limit, use caution and consider worker safety when traveling through a work zone."
