This Local Giant Spider-Web Will Make Your Skin Tingle (PIC)

Arachnophobics should look away.

The fear of spiders is one of the most common phobias people can have, along with fear of snakes and clowns. Spiders aren't all bad though and actually do a lot to help our ecosystem.

If that's the case, this giant web that popped up in the backyard of Dr. Molly Brost is gonna do a whole lotta good. Look at this thing:

That's a ground-to-cable line sized spider-web. If you immediately thought "NOPE," you aren't alone. I don't know how I'd handle coming face to face with that. The homeowner did say that there was no sign of the spider by the time she discovered the web.

Since this was posted yesterday, the web has been destroyed by natural causes, meaning down came the rain and washed the spider out.
