Are you the next "Voice?" Your chance to find out is coming early next year when the hit reality competition show holds open auditions in Indianapolis!

According to the show's casting website, the auditions will be held on January 18th at a location to be determined. Contestants must be 13-years-old or older to audition, and need to create an artist account through the site. From there, you'll select your audition city, and the time frame you'd like to audition.

All registered contestants will receive an "Audition Pass" from producers by e-mail one week before the auditions are set to take place that you must print and bring with you along with a photo ID.

Open auditions are a cappella only, meaning you won't have the comfort of an instrumental backing track or your guitar (if you play). Producers only want to hear your voice, since, you know that's kind of the point of the whole show.

While the website doesn't say which season you'll be auditioning for, my assumption is that it's for the Fall 2018 season as Spring season usually begins in late February, early March, and they have auditions scheduled as late as February 17th in Houston.

Plus, if you're hoping to catch a glimpse of one of the superstar coaches at the audition, I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but they won't be there, as the audition site explicitly states, "The coaches will NOT be at the callback auditions."

For more information, and to register, visit The Voice audition website.

Good luck!
