The Rob & KISS Listeners Give Kat Advice on Visiting Chicago

Kat is visiting Chicago for the very first time ever! We asked Facebook to help her out by suggesting where to visit, what to eat, and places to avoid.

I am incredibly excited to be visiting Chicago for the first time. I am taking my daughter to see Yellowcard and New Found Glory in concert Saturday night but we're going to need to do and see as much of the city before and after. I'd like to experience as much of Chicago as I can while we're there. The only thing I really know of Chicago is what I've seen in Ferris Buehler's Day Off!

Up until about 3 months ago, I was like Kat and had never been to Chicago. I spoke to a few people about some of the must-see places in Chicago. For fun, I'd recommend Kat take her daughter to the Shedd Aquarium. That was the highlight of my trip there. I know how much Kat likes animals and I imagine she would appreciate the huge sprawling aquarium. Unfortunately, it costs a pretty penny to experience everything the aquarium has to offer. Since she's considering going to Navy Pier already, I had a delicious meal at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company right there on the pier. Lastly, if she's looking for a true Chicago-style pizza experience, EVERYBODY told me to go to Giordona's pizza. There are plenty of locations and it seems to be the be-all end-all of deep dish pizza in Chicago.
