The Rob & Kat’s Perfect Valentine’s Day Mix Tape

They put together a playlist of break-up songs and now The Rob & Kat are back with their perfect Valentine's mix tape.

After we put together our list of break-up songs to counter Taylor Swift's list for her fan, Rob & I decided to make a mix tape in honor of Valentine's Day. Here are a few songs that we each love... and would share with the person we love...

The Rob

I have a history of making Valentine's Day "Mixtapes" for my girlfriend. While you obviously want to load it up with gushy songs that express your love, you also want to make sure you find other "goofy" songs to personalize your tape for her. Find songs that aren't necessarily about love, but that you have a mutual love for, or that remind you of a certain moment or experience you shared. There's a good chance she'll listen to it over and over and over again... Make every song count!

I am forever the hopeless romantic. No matter how many times my heart has been broken, no matter how many times I've picked up the pieces and no matter how many times I've thrown my middle fingers in the air with a determined "I'm better without you," I will forever be the hopeless romantic. So if I were to create a mix tape for a new love, there are a few songs that would be must-haves. (Notice a couple of them are cover songs. I have an affection for a good cover song.)
