I've spent a lot of time reminiscing about video rental stores over the past week or so since Blockbuster video has closed their 300 remaining video stores.  I don't know how many people can relate to my sadness about this, but I'm sure there are some people out there, probably about my age, who associate the video rental store with some of the fondest memories of their childhood.  Clearly the folks over at Buzzfeed are cut from the same cloth as me.  If you don't have fond memories of the video store, or if you grew up in the "online streaming" generation, this video will help explain the affection we have for these now-nearly-extinct houses of happiness.

Thanks a lot, Buzzfeed.  And Rest in Peace Blockbuster Video...
