The Nicest Place on the Internet

Sometimes you just need something nice in your dayAfter all of the news of what's happening in Ferguson, no matter what your personal thoughts are, the entire situation is just sad for all parties involved.  If your newsfeed is like mine, chances are every single post is about what is happening in Ferguson, whether it's people sharing their personal thoughts on it, or people sharing pictures and videos of it. I just feel maybe it's time to start trying to fill our newsfeeds with something positive.  Yes, what is happening in Ferguson is a huge deal, and one that will be remembered, and impact generations to come.  However that being said watching the news can be scary, and sometimes the news likes to make the outlook seem very bleak.

One thing I like to remember is a quote from Mr. Rogers that says:

When I was a boy and would see scary things in the news my mother would always say to me 'look for the helpers, you will always find people who are helping.'" - Fred Rogers

 

In light of all of the events going on, there will always be people helping.  I like to try to stay positive and keep on the positive side of things, and that's why I'm telling you about the nicest place on the internet.

If you are having a bad day/week/month, and the news is too much to handle, just remember there are people who care about you, and you can always have a hug waiting for you on the nicest place on the internet.:)
