After reading good things friends had posted on Facebook, Bobby G. and I head to Evansville's west side to try a new pizza joint unlike any other in town.

Azzip Pizza sits in the location formerly occupied by a Sprint Store on Pearl Drive and basically is a mash up between a sandwich or burrito shop, and a pizza bakery. Simply select the size of pie you want, choose a sauce, meat, and any number of veggies available, wait just over two minutes for it to run through an oven, and BOOM, you have yourself a piping hot, delicious, thin crust pizza you created.

During our trip Thursday afternoon, we had the opportunity to meet Brad, the man who created the idea while attending Purdue University, and brought it to life when he returned home to Evansville. Brad was nice enough to sit down with us for a quick impromptu interview to discuss how Azzip went from a simple idea to a full-fledged restaurant.

So how does it taste? Here's how my first bite went.
