The 501st Legion Set to Invade the Evansville Museum at Sunday’s Kids and Grandparents Day

The Force will be strong at the Evansville Museum of Arts, History, and Science on Riverside Drive this Sunday as the international Star Wars costuming organization, the 501st Legion descends from a galaxy far, far away for a celebration of family diversity.

The Kids and Grandparents Day event takes place from Noon-4pm and is free to attend. Other activities on tap for the day include the Children’s Center for Dance Education performing scenes from Cinderella, Mesker Park Zoo & Botanic Garden bringing exotic animals, and Wesselman Nature Society showing off raptors.

The Newburgh Academy of Dance and UE Suzuki Strings are also scheduled to perform along with a performance from the Evansville Fire Performers on the back lawn, and a clown making balloon animals.
