Trends come & go and The Rob & Kat Mykals were discussing some things that simply are no longer cool. We weighed in and asked Facebook too. Here's what we have to say

What's cool and what's not? Did you know that how you carry your backpack can determine your cool factor? Back in the day, it was considered nerdy to carry your backpack on your back. The cool kids wore their backpack slung over one shoulder. Turns out, in 2016, the backpack tables have turned and the once strap method is out & full back wear is in! Who knew?!

When I was growing up, on all of the current and cool shows, like "Beverly Hills, 90210" or "Real World" that real encapsulated "NOW culture," one thing cool people did was rollerblade. Could you imagine how dumb you would look now rollerblading along the riverfront here in Evansville?

When I was in high school, the big hair trend was thick, chunky highlights. Basically big swatches of blonde hair bleached into your usually dark hair. It was striking to say the least. Now it's about subtlety - think balayage. The lighter & darker shades are blended in a more natural look. There was nothing natural about those chunky 90s - early 2000s highlights.
