Despite being oftentimes attacked for "glamorizing teen pregnancy," MTV's hit "Teen Mom" franchize (including its predecossor "16 & Pregnant" and its sequel "Teen Mom 2") is now being used as supplemental aid in sexual education classrooms across America.

The article reported by The New York Times is available here demonstrates the show's positive effect on America's young people, which is something I have been suggesting and defending for a long time.  Whenever I see or hear someone imply that the show "glamorizes teen pregnancy" I become dumbfounded and wonder if we are even watching the same show.  What do you think?  Does "Teen Mom" encourage teenage pregnancy?
