Star Wars' Adam Driver was in the house hosting the first new episode of "Saturday Night Live" of 2016!  The episode was decent, I suppose, although not one of my favorites.  I've never been a fan of the Star Wars movies and don't know Adam Driver from, well, Adam.  Additionally, have a country music artist like Chris Steapleton isn't going to add my excitement, either.  However, there w

There was one new episode of Saturday Night Live since I've been on vacation (although they did rerun the awesome Matthew McConaughey/Adele episode as well).  While I had higher expectations from the veteran cast members and usually-still-funny Tina Fey and Amy Poehler, the episode was decent.  Since I'm "watching SNL so you don't have to," you can thank me this week because I isolated t

Chris Hemsworth hosted a live episode of "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.  He did a solid job, I thought.  Many of the show's highlights, however, he was absent from.  The most talked about segment was probably the show's cold open, featuring Will Ferrell returning to the show with his classic George W. Bush impression.  This segment though, a commercial parody for New Star Wars: The

Ryan Gosling hosted another live episode of "Saturday Night Live" this weekend.  As a huge fan of "SNL," not-so-much Ryan Gosling, I actually didn't think he did a great job hosting.  As you've probably seen on social media by now, he kept cracking up unexpectedly during an alien encounter sketch with Kate McKinnon.  What you may not have known, unless you saw the full episode,

There was a new Saturday Night Live this weekend.  While it's in my opinion musical guest Adele stole the show with her live performances of "Hello" and "When We Were Young," host Matthew McConaughey did a great job hosting the affair.  My favorite sketch was another digital short that shows just how powerful Adele's voice actually is!

Saturday Night Live was ON POINT this weekend!  I thought host Elizabeth Banks did a GREAT job as host and there were some huge laughs throughout the episode, especially in the first half.  The ladies killed it, though, with this music video about their childhood crushes.  As far as I'm concerned, they won the show with their video "First Got Horny 2 U," shown below!

This week Donald Trump hosted "Saturday Night Live."  He's one of the biggest stars in the world and is actually the leading choice in most polls for republican nominee for President of the United States.  While I thought this episode (featuring Sia as musical guest) was just okay, this parody of Drake's "Hotline Bling" video stood out to me as the funniest sketch of the night.
Family Feud Fail
While he's not for everybody, I've always appreciated the comedic talents of Tracy Morgan.  While I would say he's best known for being a cast member on Saturday Night Live, it's in my opinion that sketch comedy isn't necessarily his strong suit.  I think he's funnier in unscripted interviews and stand-up comedy.  I've actually had the luxory of seeing Tracy's stand up in person when he came to Pe

There was a new "Saturday Night Live" this weekend, so you know what I was doing Saturday night!  The Weeknd lit the stage up with Nicki Minaj on a remix of "The Hills," and host Amy Schumer did a great job as host.  While this technically was not my FAVORITE sketch from the show, the Spice Girls references throughout this segment touched me in all of the right 90s nostalgia pl
