You almost have to feel bad for the cast and writers of Saturday Night Live.  They probably had a whole fleshed-out show for "Hamilton" star Lin Manuel Miranda...  And then, late Friday night, Trump happened.

The 42nd season premiere of television's longest running Saturday late-night comedy took place Saturday night as Margot Robbie (best known as Harley Quinn from Suicide Squad) teamed up with musical guest the Weeknd to put on a GREAT episode of Saturday Night Live!

Killam and Pharoah were both let go ahead of the new season, after six years on the show.

And the SNL changes keep rolling ahead of Season 42. Just days after losing cast favorites Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah (and Jon Rudnitsky, sorry) from the series, SNL has elected two new head writers to take the reigns before the fall season.

SNL fans are still reeling the loss of Taran Killam and Jay Pharoah (well, and Jon Rudnitsky), but little did we know, the pair already had backup plans. Showtime confirms that Killam will lead new comedy Mating, while Jay Pharoah lands the lead role in Jamie Foxx comedy White Famous.

Last night wrapped up Saturday Night Live's 41st season!  While overall I thought it was a pretty good season, I definitely think that the show went on a bad note.

This weekend, Drake pulled double duty on Saturday Night Live serving as BOTH host and musical guest!  Even as a fan of Drake, I was surprised at how natural he was with his hosting duties.  His episode was pretty solid, but his monologue was my absolute favorite!  In his monologue, Drake performs a song called "More Than a Meme" in which he acknowledges some of the goofy online pictures

There are three more episodes left in Saturday Night Live's historic 41st season!  This weekend show was hosted by Brie Larson with musical guest Alicia Keys.  I found the episode to be so-so, however I was very excited right off the bat when the first person I see on the screen is Dana Carvey in full "Church Lady" regalia!
