Sometimes, the lesser-reported crime in the Tri-State has a theme.  This is definitely one of those instances, and the theme this week was MARIJUANA.

I was just a few banana peels and turtle shells away from calling this the "Mario Kart Edition" of It Came From Evansville Watch!  Even though it doesn't have Yoshi and Donkey Kong, we've still got some crazy go kart and four wheeling action!

Last week, 106.1 KISS-FM teamed up with FOX44 to put on Evansville Idol.  The winner, Cody Webb, won himself a Silver Ticket Audition Pass in Nashville.  We talked to him about how his audition went earlier today.

...Yes.  That's right.  The "Disrespectful Fart Edition".  Evansville made NATIONAL news AGAIN last week with one "disrespectful fart".

Last night Kat and I, along with Rick Williams (vocal instructor at the University of Evansville), had the honor of being able to judge FOX44's Evansville Idol!  The event featured 45 singers from the Tri-State in the Eastland Mall performing for a Silver Ticket Audition Pass in Nashville.

In Part 1 of this week's "It Came From Evansville Watch," not only will we discuss the "underground news" of Evansville, but we will also learn what a zonkey is.
