On Saturday, I made the trip to Santa Claus, IN for a live broadcast at Holiday World and Splashin' Safari. It was a big day for our great local theme park for two reasons. 1.) USI Springfest 2012 is in the books and featured everything from carnival rides, games, food, and free live entertainment (including Elle Maze) in the parking lot to a live performance by Karmin and Mike Posner inside the PAC Arena. The entire KISS Crew was on hand for a live broadcast beginning at 3pm Saturday until Karmin took the stage at 8pm. While there wasn't much more than rain happening at my house on the North Side, the storm sirens were in full force. We turned on the TV to hear that a tornado had touched down south of Mt. Vernon and was heading toward Evansville. Off to the basement we went.

I love going to the grocery store. Yes, you read that right, I said I love going to the grocery store. What seems like a mundane and necessary task for most people is my chance once a week to get out of the house and have a little "me time". I like going late in the evening without my kids because it gives me the chance to take my time and stroll the aisles which over time has led me to stumble across a few rare gems.

I have no issue with people who get tattoos. As I wrote about last week, I've been thinking about getting one myself for a long time. I also don't have any problem with women getting tattoos. My wife has been mulling over the idea getting one as well. With that being said, I do think that there is a such a thing as too many tattoos especially when it comes to women and Rihanna may be getting to that point.
