Before riding off into retirement, former Indianapolis Colt, and current Green Bay Packer, Jeff Saturday snapped the ball one last time to his good friend and former teammate, Peyton Manning.

Like with anything hugely popular, the song has found itself the subject of numerous covers, parodies, and cute-kids-in-the-backseat lip-syncing videos from well-established artists, up-and-comers, and popular TV shows. The sports world has even jumped on the band wagon, re-working the song to share thoughts on Kobe Bryant's play, and now to pay tribute to former (that's still weird to say) Indianapolis Colts quarterback, Peyton Manning.
The new era of Indianapolis Colts football began with a few simple words from NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, "With the first pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, the Indianapolis Colts select...Andrew Luck, quarterback, Stanford." And so it begins Colts fans.
Despite the fact team officials would neither confirm nor deny the report, according to ESPN, "a league source" says the Colts have already informed former Standford quarterback, Andrew Luck, that he will be their choice as the first overall pick in the draft when it begins next Thursday.
While team officials haven't commented, a story from Profootballtalk.com today says that Colts owner Jim Irsay has "essentially confirmed" the report

Early reports since Manning signed with the Broncos had Tim Tebow on his way to the east coast. ESPN's Adam Schefter reported earlier today that “Denver and Jets have encountered hangup in language in Tim Tebow's contract that could nullify trade.”
I've made no secret of my love for the Indianapolis Colts, so to see Peyton Manning hold up a bright orange Broncos jersey was surreal. After all the hoopla surrounding his departure from the Colts, and the various teams attempting to woo him their way, I knew the day would come that he would sign with another team, but seeing him in front of backdrop decorated with the Broncos logo just didn't seem right. It was a sign of closure that small part of me maybe never wanted.
Unless you've been on the moon plotting world domination, the news that Manning has been signed to the Broncos has reached your ears! Now the question remains, Should Denver Keep BOTH Manning and Tebow or put Tebow on the chopping block!
It seems all the joint resolutions, lifetime contracts, and free pancakes the state of Tennessee offered over the past week wasn't enough to persuade Peyton Manning into becoming a member of the Tennessee Titans.
Reports suggest their are three teams left in the hunt for Peyton Manning's services. The Denver Broncos, The San Francisco 49er's, and the Colts in division rival, the Tennessee Titans. While all three teams I'm sure are checking their books to see how much money they can throw at Peyton, the people of Nashville (where the Titans' are headquartered) are doing everything they can to sway Manning including free food.
