The newest addition to the Mellow Mushroom collection has opened at 101 West 2nd Street in downtown Owensboro, Kentucky. The restaurant invites guests to explore its far out design and décor. Indulge in the delectable menu and seek out the captivating art adorning the walls throughout the unique restaurant.

Since abruptly shutting the doors permanently in 2014, the building that was home to Steak 'N Shake on Evansville's west side has sat vacant. However, that may soon change as the parent company of Culver's Restaurant has submitted an application with the state to take over the space.

The franchise, which was born out of the free-wheelin' hippie culture of the 1970's will be offering salads, craft beers, calzones, hoagies, wines, and of course specialty pizzas.
