Years after 'The Tonight Show' debacle between Jay Leno and Conan O'Brien has fallen off our radars, recent rumblings have all-but-confirmed that 'Late Night' host and 'SNL' alum Jimmy Fallon will take the 'Tonight Show' mantle from Leno in 2014. Now, recent reports have surfaced that Fallon will not only replace Jay Leno next year, but that 'The Tonight Show' will return to its original home in New York City as well! Now, new rumors suggest that Leno will finally step down in 2014 to be replaced by his 'Late Night' successor Jimmy Fallon, but is there any truth to the new late-night war on the horizon?

Piers Morgan, the tart-tongued British judge on ‘America’s Got Talent,’ has announced he’s leaving the television competition to focus more on his eponymous nightly talk show.

On Wednesday, he told his 1.5 million Twitter followers, “I’m leaving America’s Got Talent after 6 wonderful years. Turned out that juggling’s harder than it looks, so I’m going to focus on CNN.”

The networks continue to clean house this week.

After passing on the much-debated ‘Wonder Woman’ pilot, NBC announced Friday that it is canceling freshman series ‘The Event,’ ‘Law & Order: Los Angeles’ and‘Outsourced.’

‘The Event’ was initially a big ratings draw for the Peacock network, with 11.2 million tuning into its premiere episode last fall. But by the end of its run, the show, which starred Jason Ritter (pictured), averaged just 7.4 million viewers per-episode.
