It's the end of the road for the high school football season, and the Mater Dei Wildcats have the chance to close it out with a Class 2A state championship.
The Class 2A State Final is scheduled for next Friday at 11 a.m. Central inside Lucas Oil Stadium. If the Mater Dei Wildcats hope to make it there, they'll first have to travel two and a half hours north to Monrovia, Indiana to take on a Bulldogs team with the same intent.
