I Heart Boobies Offensive? [POLL]

A story came up in Kat's news today that caused quite a controversy.  In a middle school in Monticello, Indiana, a student has been reprimanded for wearing a silicone bracelet reading "I Boobies," in support of breast cancer awareness.  The Indiana A.C.L.U. has come to the boy's defense, saying forbidding the boy from wearing it is in violation of his first amendment rights.  What do you think.

Annual Relay for Life to Raise Funds for Cancer Research

Sadly, nearly everyone is affected by some form of cancer in some way. Personally, I've had family members lose their battle with the disease, so I know what it can do not only to the person affected, but there family as well. On the flip side, I also know people who have survived cancer and are leading normal, healthy lives thanks in part to fundraising efforts such as the upcoming Relay for Life at the University of Southern Indiana.

2012 Polar Plunge to Benefit Special Olympics Indiana

It's been a weird winter so far in the Evansville area. Sixty degree days followed by a twenty degree day and a light dusting of snow followed by a sunny skies and a forty-five degree day. If you've lived in Evansville you're whole life like I have or you've at least lived here for a few years, this type of bipolar season isn't unheard of. It's generally par for the course, but it doesn't make it any easier to get used to. One thing is for sure, it's not swimming weather, unless you're doing it for a good cause.
