Packers Quarterback Aaron Rogers Will Wear Other Team’s Jersey for a Week After Losing Bet With Boyz II Men
I only make bets when I'm 99.9% sure I will win — and this is why.

NFL Preseason has officially begun and in MY opinion, not a moment TOO soon!...Now that Football is back will you be watching that or the Olympics? Cast your vote in the poll and I read the results during next week's show!
All entries will also be in the running for the Grand Prize: a 4 Pack of Season Tickets for the 2012 IU & Big Ten Football action!
Women playing football for a great cause? Best. Idea. Ever.
I think everyone can agree that the version of football we know and love here in the good ol' U-S-of-A is a violent sport. 300-plus pound men in helmets and pads running full throttle into one another in an attempt to put one in the win column for their team. When you take away the pads and helmets, but keep the speed and violent hits, you get Australian Rules Football.
The University of Oregon Ducks football program has become one of the premiere programs in college football with a record of 34-6 over the last three years including a win in the 2012 Rose Bowl. And while they may be one of the toughest teams in the country on the field, they may be the most pampered inside the locker room.
After an intense overtime victory in the NFC Championship game last, the New York Giants upset the San Francisco 49ers, earning their spot in Super Bowl XLVI to meet the New England Patriots who moved past the Baltimore Ravens.
After an impressive second half which saw them erase a 16-7 halftime deficit to win 27-16, the Mater Dei Wildcats football team is heading back to the Class 2A state title game for the first time since 2001.
At 6pm Evansville time on Veterans Day, the Spartans of Michigan State University will take on the Tar Heels of North Carolina in a rematch of the 2009 national championship game. The differences being, there's no national title on the line, and neither team will have the benefit of playing in front of a home crowd or inside a home gym for that matter.
When the news came down that Peyton Manning would miss a majority of, if not the entire 2011 season after two neck surgeries, Colts fans everywhere, including me, let out a collective "Uh-oh." But I do think there were a number of us, again, myself included, that held out hope that the rest of the team would rise up and meet the challenge to prove that one man does not a team make. Then 0-7 came along.
I'll let you in on a little secret. Being on the air every weekday from 10am-2pm on 106-1 KISS-FM is not all I do around the station. On Friday nights, I moonlight on our sister-station, Newstalk 1280AM as the color commentator for their coverage of high school football. This is my second season in the commentator's chair and I love every minute of it. Especially when I get the opportunity to do what I did this past Saturday, call a game from an NFL stadium.
It's official. After months of talking and negotiating, the NFL and it's players came to an agreement earlier this week on a new collective bargaining agreement (CBA) effectively ending the lockout that kept players from entering team facilities or even speaking with any member of the staff. For many men across the country, this is fantastic news! Although I think in the back of our minds we all felt a resolution was coming eventually, we were getting nervous as of late considering that most teams open up their training camps around this time (The Colts open theirs on July 31st), and that preseason games start in the 2nd week of August.
