I bet you can find well-known movie locations in every one of the 50 states.

I've spent a lot of time reminiscing about video rental stores over the past week or so since Blockbuster video has closed their 300 remaining video stores.  I don't know how many people can relate to my sadness about this, but I'm sure there are some people out there, probably about my age, who associate the video rental store with some of the fondest memories of their childhood...

Straw Dogs is about a Hollywood writer who falls in love and marries a small-town actress from Blackwater, Mississippi that he meets on the set of one of their TV shows. They decided to move back to Blackwater and take over the house that the wife grew up in and that when all the trouble begins.
