Whatever holiday you celebrate in December, it comes with a lot of pressure. If you get that special someone the wrong gift, watch out. Things can get pretty ugly. That’s particularly true for pop-culture fans. They know what they want, and they probably have most of it already. Perhaps you know someone like this. Perhaps you are someone like this. (Perhaps I am someone like this.)
In addition to returning to theaters and releasing a premium Blu-ray box set this fall, Back to the Future will also celebrate its 30th anniversary with a pretty big celebration. Everyone knows that 2015 is the year that Marty McFly and Doc Brown journey to in Back to the Future Part II. While we may not have hoverboards or Jaws 19, we are getting a new 30th anniversary Blu-ray and DVD release of the Back to the Future trilogy, which isn’t a bad consolation prize. In fact, the slightly more obsessive fans have even more reason to celebrate, as the Back to the Future animated series from the early ‘90s is coming to DVD for the first time.

Over the next few weeks, I'll look at some of Hollywood's most notable film franchises and see if that cliche is accurate. To kick things off, I'll tackle the Back to the Future trilogy of films...
Being a "Car Girl" I have seen some really cool modifications to cars. I have also seen some really strange mods, but this takes the cake! And I'm not even sure what it is!
This guy bought a used car off of Craigslist for a couple hundred dollars, site unseen...
The scene from Back to the Future where Marty McFly indirectly creates Chuck Berry's classic sound...by playing Chuck Berry's classic sound at the high school dance is one of the greatest scenes in movie history (in my opinion anyway). At a recent fundraiser in New York, Michael J. Fox wowed the crowd by practically recreated the iconic scene.
I remember watching Back to the Future and thinking how sweet it would be if the hoverboard that Michael J. Fox rode through the streets actually existed. Thanks to some brainiac scientists, that day may finally be here.
